Tanya L. Tidwell

Sr. Associate Attorney

She/Her

Born in Georgia and raised in Alabama, Tanya enjoyed a wonderful childhood with her parents and two sisters, as they spent summers traveling and discovering history all over the world and the school year exploring North America, by visiting national landmarks and attending theatre, opera, and symphonies throughout the country. This experience inspired Tanya to make a difference in the world. After graduating from the University of Alabama with a double major in Biology and Marine Biology, Tanya earned her law degree in 2002 from Cumberland Law School in Birmingham, AL.

Upon graduating from law school, Tanya spent many years working in all areas of the law, however, she never forgot her dream of making a difference in the world and in 2013 moved to Costa Rica to learn Spanish, where she spent hundreds of hours immersed in language and culture. In 2015,  she returned to the United States to begin working with the immigrant population, one of the most marginalized and discriminated against populations of this country. She has been working exclusively in immigration law since 2016 and she particularly loves being able to work with the Hispanic population and help them with all of their immigration needs.

Tanya is blessed to have a wonderful, loving, and supportive wife and children. When she’s not working, Tanya and her family enjoy traveling all over the world. They spend as much time as possible on the water and especially anticipate their diving adventures. In addition to spending free time with her family and friends, Tanya loves to read historical fiction and to cook all of the different foods she has discovered while visiting different cultures. She is very happy to be on this journey through life with her family and she is excited about the opportunity to serve the immigrant community with the law firm Solano.
