Grace E. Marcano-González was born and raised in Puerto Rico, where she grew up with a strong sense of community, regularly volunteering with her family to serve underprivileged communities.

Grace earned a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Languages with a minor in Public Relations from the University of Puerto Rico. In 2015, she earned her law degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law. While attending law school she interned for the Department of Justice and was an active member of the her law school’s immigration law clinic. It was through the work with the immigration clinic that she discovered that she wanted to dedicate her career to helping others through immigration law.

After graduating, Grace moved to New York City to realize her dream and practice immigration law. She specializes in family-based immigration and detained and non-detained removal defense. Grace has worked extensively with the Hispanic community in the New York tri-state area and has represented detained individuals at the U.S. and Mexico border. She prides herself in providing the utmost support, empathy, and dedication to each and every client.
